"God's Pruning"

The bushes don't know that we prune them so they can come back and be more lush and produce more branches. We're the same way. Ever been through something and thought "God, there better be something good that comes out of this because this hurts!". Bushes don't feel pain, but we do. God is wise enough to know that sometimes we need to be "pruned" to be better. I'm betting there's someone out there right now going through a painful situation that could use your story to reassure them that God doesn't do anything without a bigger purpose in mind.
